On May 8, 2023 the City Council approved an amendment to the Mobile Vendor ordinance (above) and reduced the annual fee to $75. In addition, electricity is available at $10/day on a first come-first serve basis in certain locations. We have added sites, including the Mobile Vendor Plaza at 804 E. Main St., Snyder Field, and the Bandshell at Edgewater Park. The map link above will show all mobile vendor sites as well as the additional spots and the designated food vendor area at each site.
If you need electricity at the North Broadway lot or to reserve a spot at the Mobile Vendor Plaza, call Karla at 507-377-4330, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
In addition to the available daily parking locations, there are many community events you have an opportunity to participate in. For information on these events, please contact:

If you would like to obtain a license, please return the following to the City Clerk’s Office:
- Completed application (above)
- Signed Indemnity Agreement (above)
- Certificate of liability insurance listing the City of Albert Lea as an Additional Insured
- A copy of your License from the State Health Dept.
- Payment of $75
