10-29-20: The sliplining subcontractor installed the CIPP sliplining this week. The prime contractor also completed some minor boulevard grading work. All work is now completed until the final lift of bituminous is placed next spring except for minor punch list items.

10-23-20: This week the landscaping subcontractor prepped for and placed the sod. The prime contractor was also in and installed sanitary manhole castings so the CIPP sliplining subcontractor can access the manholes. The CIPP sliplining is scheduled to take place next week. After that, all work will be completed for the year except for minor punch list items.

10-9-20: This week the contractor completed final grading of the aggregate base. Paving the first lift of asphalt is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday of next week.

10-2-20: All the concrete work was completed this week. Next week the contractor will complete the final shaping of the aggregate base. Bituminous paving is tentatively scheduled for the week of October 12.

9-25-20: This week the contractor continued the concrete work. The curb & gutter has been completed along with much of the sidewalk. They will install ½ of the concrete pavement in the intersection at 1st Avenue today. They hope to finish the concrete work by the middle of next week. The CIPP sliplining is also scheduled to take place next week.

9-18-20: Concrete work started this week with the installation of the curb & gutter. The concrete crews hope to be able to complete all the concrete work including the sidewalk and driveway approaches by the end of next week.

8-28-20: The contractor spent most of the week excavating and installing the new aggregate base, which is now mostly complete. The concrete crew is scheduled to come in next week to begin installing the curb & gutter.

8-21-20: This week the contractor began the process of excavating and installing the new aggregate subgrade and base along with two sanitary sewer services. Next week the contract will continue with the aggregate bases.

8-17-20: The contractor finished replacing the remaining water services early last week and then completed the storm sewer replacement. All underground utility work is now complete. This week the contractor will begin the process of excavating and installing the aggregate base.

8-6-20: The contractor completed replacement of the watermain this week. They are currently working on replacing water services between the abandoned railroad and 1st Avenue. Once they have obtained passing bacteria tests on the remaining new watermain, they will complete the rest of the water service work.

7-31-20: The contractor spent most of this week replacing watermain and sanitary sewer manholes. Approximately 2/3 of the watermain has been replaced, and they hope to finish next week.

7-24-20: This week work continued on replacement of the storm sewer and sanitary sewer. They will finish that early next week and then will begin replacing the watermain.

7-20-20: Last week the contractor installed the new watermain valves at both ends of the project. They then began replacing the storm sewer beginning at the area of the abandoned railroad tracks and working to the east. They hope to finish the storm sewer this week and then to begin replacing the watermain.

7-10-10: This week the contractor switched all the affected properties to the temporary water supply that will serve them until the watermain replacement has been completed. They then replaced the water valves at both Ermina Avenue and at 1st Avenue. Unless there are any unforeseen circumstances, there should be no more water shutdowns associated with this project. Next week the contractor will begin replacing the sanitary sewer manholes and then begin replacing the storm sewer beginning at the east end of the project if time permits.

7-2-20: No work took place this week. Next week the contractor plans to set up and begin switching residents over to temporary water supply once they pass the bacteria tests. They will then begin underground utility work with replacement of watermain, sanitary sewer manholes and storm sewer.

6-29-20: Last week the contractor completed removal of the existing pavement and sidewalk and set up the temporary water supply. Once they have obtained passing bacteria tests they will begin switching houses over to the temporary pipe. They will begin underground utility work this week with replacement of the sanitary sewer manholes and storm sewer.

6-22-20: Traffic control has been set up and the contractor began removing the pavement beginning at Ermina Avenue. This week they will continue with removals and begin setting up the temporary watermain service.

Work anticipated for next week includes setting up the traffic control, removing the existing pavement and curb & gutter, and to begin setting up the temporary watermain that will service the properties during the watermain replacement process.
